Our produce operations began over 70 years ago with packing, shipping, and brokering local green beans.  Since then, we have expanded to include a diverse array of customizable products and services to a broad customer base. In 2021, we added 25,000 sq ft of production capacity at a second state-of-the-art production facility.

 Some of our services include:

  • Repacking local farmers’ seasonal harvests for distribution across the eastern seaboard, including squash, peppers, and wax and green beans.

  • Fresh-cut fruit and vegetable products made to customer specifications 

  • ​Packing salt potatoes

  • Hunger relief programs for families in need 

  • Cutting and portioning for institutions, including school programs 

George’s is a participant in the New York Grown & Certified program. Our operations follow HACCP principles and are in compliance with GFSI audit requirements.

We believe that access to healthy, fresh food is a key foundation for strong, thriving communities. We are active members in the Central New York communities where we work and live. We take pride in our advocacy for local farmers, our participation in hunger relief programs, and the role we play to support a bountiful and sustainable regional agricultural system
